A. J. Walkley
A.J. Walkley〔http://www.ajwalkley.com/〕 is the author of such titles as ''Queer Greer''〔http://shop.rsp-llc.com/product.sc?productId=34&categoryId=4〕 and ''Choice''〔http://bookstore.iuniverse.com/Products/SKU-000126340/Choice.aspx〕 - both young adult books. She is a blogger for The Huffington Post, mostly writing for their Gay Voices section.〔http://www.huffingtonpost.com/aj-walkley/〕 An out and proud bisexual activist, Walkley hails from the state of Connecticut in the United States, where she was born and raised before moving out West to California. She currently writes out of Arizona.
Walkley earned a B.A. in English Literature with a double minor in Creative Writing and Film Studies from Dickinson College in 2007 before heading into the U.S. Peace Corps as a health volunteer in Malawi, Africa.
Upon her return to the States, Walkley worked as a reporter for the Fairfield Citizen News in Connecticut before heading to New York City to become a United Nations Correspondent.
Walkley is currently editing her next book, titled ''Vuto'', inspired by her experiences in the Peace Corps. Walkley also has an ongoing project in script and book-form, based on the life of Texas inmate Elizabeth Burke.
